Easy Grilled Maple Asparagus Recipe

When it comes to cooking a asparagus as a side dish, I want to do something to bump up the flavor beyond salt and pepper. More often than not, I stare at the spices in my door length spice rack and get overwhelmed when it comes to combining them. That’s when I grab a spice blend like the those found in  The Spice House Best Sellers Collection because I know every spice in that bottle tastes good together and is measured in the proper amount so one spice doesn’t over power another.

Not to mention, my meal planning is usually goes like this: Hey, it’s almost dinner time and I really need a quick side dish. Better throw some vegetables on my Hamilton Beach® Indoor Searing Grill!

Because planning a recipe 2 to 3 minutes before the rest of the meal is ready is how I roll.

Quick and Easy Grilled Maple Asparagus Recipe

Grilled asparagus only takes two to three minutes to grill to tender crisp perfection – another reason to love it!

You will need the following ingredients for the recipe:

Fresh asparagus

Olive oil

The Spice House Gateway to the North spice blend – it contains maple sugar, salt, pepper, garlic, and more!

Step by step how to make this recipe:

1. Lightly brush each asparagus spear with olive oil. This will keep it from sticking to the grill and will help the spices to stay where they are supposed to – on the asparagus.

2.Turn the Hamilton Beech Indoor Searing Grill on and set it to Sear. When the green Ready light is lit the grill is hot enough to grill.

3. Season the asparagus spears with Gateway to the North Seasoning and put them on the grill.

Tip: Laying the asparagus spears diagonally onto the grill will help keep smaller asparagus spears from falling in between the grill openings.

4. Cook the asparagus on the grill for 2 to 5 minutes (depending upon the size of your asparagus spears) until it is tender crisp or longer if you like your grilled asparagus very tender.

5. Serve. Eat. and Repeat!
