How to Dehydrate Fresh Mushrooms

Mushrooms are a staple in my kitchen. So much so that I usually buy more than one container when I go grocery shopping.

Well wouldn't you know it, the one time I buy three containers of fresh mushrooms, we can't go through all of them before they take a turn toward iffy. And if you know your mushrooms, iffy turns into compost fodder real quick.




I experimented dehydrating my fresh mushrooms and it worked! I stored the mushrooms in an empty jar to use in winter soup or some sort of crockpot dinner creation
